The Importance of Hardware on Jeans

The Importance of Hardware on Jeans

When most people think about jeans, they think about the denim itself — the color, the fit, the weight. But the hardware is just as important. Rivets, buttons, and zippers are what hold everything together, literally and visually. The small details are what separate a well-built pair from something that just looks the part.

Rivets

Rivets are the small metal studs at the corners of your pockets. They reinforce the stress points of the jean so the stitching doesn't have to. Our rivets are stainless steel — built to last and gentle on skin, making them a great option for anyone with metal sensitivities.

The Button

The waist button takes constant pressure every time you put your jeans on and take them off. A quality button is solid metal, set deep into the denim so it doesn't pull through over time.

The Zipper

A good zipper is smooth and sturdy. Cheap zippers snag, split, or fail at the pull tab. On quality denim, the zipper is sewn in cleanly with heavy enough teeth to hold under tension.
